HVADems.com Doubles Visitors

HVADems.com, Hanover Democratic Committee’s official website, received recorded number of visitors totaling 118,088 just two months into the year’s first quarter. The fourth quarter report of 2007, HVADems.com received 73,938 visitors. HDC TV has been viewed 7,776 times followed by the event calendar’s 2,007 hits and the photo gallery’s 631 hits. Google.com is noted as the top referring search engine to the website followed by VADemocrats.org, Yahoo.com, and YouTube.com.

The committee’s website was redesigned in April 2007.

The enhanced website features information about the committee’s history, the bylaws, a listing of officers with email and phone numbers, news articles, press releases, interactive photo gallery, live video streaming called HDC TV, downloadable membership and volunteer forms, online event registration forms, and the ability to donate and pay membership fees online.

Website users can read newsfeeds from local and national newspapers, the Office of the Governor, the Democratic Party of Virginia, the Virginia House Democratic Caucus, and the White House. In addition, voting records of Hanover County local, state, and federal elected officials can be viewed.
