Hanover Democratic Committee of Virginia

Joe Abbey, deputy campaign manager for Mark Warner for US Senate, will be the guest speaker at the Hanover Democratic Committee monthly meeting on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 9AM at the Ashland Coffee and Tea, Ashland VA.

Joe was Senator Chap Petersen's campaign manager.  His efforts help secure 55.3% of the total number of votes to defeat incumbent Jeannemarie Devolites Davis.  It is noted as the highest turnout of any 2007 contest in Fairfax County and was the most expensive legislative race in Virginia history.
