The HDC Fish Fry held on Saturday, October 4, 2008 was a great success. This free and open to the public event took place at one of the democratic offices in Ashland.
This feature featured 7th congressional candidate Anita Hartke and newly appointed district chair Faye Prichard. Anita Hartke outlined specific differences between herself and Eric Cantor to a growing crowd that reached well over 50 people. The Gypsy Roots Band provided music for the event as people socialized and discussed the importance of this election. HDC members distributed free yard signs to people that live across the county.
This event was followed the HDC monthly meeting located at the Ashland Coffee and Tea and door to door canvassing in strategic areas of the county. View Video
